EMILIO MORALES 

Emilio Morales is the Managing Director of Rimas Publishing, where he heads three wholly independent publishing companies: RSM Publishing LLC (ASCAP), Risamar Publishing LLC (BMI), and Megasongs Publishing LLC (SESAC). With strategic leadership and vision, Emilio has guided Rimas Publishing’s development, growth, and expansion, positioning the company as a leader in the industry.  Emilio leads an international business comprising over 125 highly acclaimed authors and producers from Mexico, Puerto Rico, Chile, the Dominican Republic, Colombia, Venezuela, Uruguay, Nicaragua, and the United States. This diverse roster represents thousands of copyrights and has earned Rimas Publishing the title of Billboard Latin Publisher of the Year in both 2021 and 2022, in addition to GRAMMY and Latin GRAMMY awards, 31 ASCAP awards, and 13 BMI Latin awards. 

His role involves the careful administration and management of publishing licenses for a catalog of talents, including Bad Bunny, Eladio Carrión, Subelo NEO, Mora, Pailita, Cris MJ, Marcianeke, Corina Smith, Tempo, DJ Negro, Lizzy Parra, and many others. This encompasses a broad spectrum of commercial uses, spanning film, television, advertising, and more. Emilio's expertise has enabled partnerships with major global brands, facilitating collaborations with companies such as Adidas, Amazon, Univision, NBC, Corona, Cheetos, Netflix, Spotify, TIDAL, HBO, Rockstar Games, Comcast, AT&T, Disney, SBS, iHeart Radio, and many others. 

In 2023, Emilio was honored as a Billboard Latin Power Player, alongside being recognized as the "NEXTGEN_NOW One to Watch" by the Music Business Association.  Emilio's dedication extends to serving as a Board Member and Treasurer of the Music Business Association (Music Biz). He has also been a featured panelist at industry events, including Billboard Latin Week, NY:LON Connect (London), and the Latin Alternative Music Conference (LAMC). Emilio actively advocates for the Latin genre and Latino creators globally. He emphasizes the historical significance of trans-cultural collaborations and explores opportunities for licensing Latin music for non-conventional uses and new technologies. For Emilio, it's all about making music fair for its creators, educating about its intrinsic value, and fostering corporate responsibility in the music industry.
