“Wanted” garnered BMI’s coveted Song Of The Year award. Verges was both and Oscar and a Golden Globe nominee for his composition “Coming Home.” Other Verges works have found their way into the nomination mix at The Grammys, The ACM Awards, The Billboard Awards and The CMA Awards. He has been named BMI, NSAI and Music Row’s Writer of The Year at different points over his career.
